About the Episode Agusta native Deon Grant admittedly came from humble beginnings yet garnered immense success throughout his 12-year career as an NFL safety that culminated in a Super Bowl XLVI Championship win. However, he never lost touch with the Southside Augusta projects he once called home, finding peace in being a source of inspiration and motivation to youth facing the same pressures he did growing up. The desire to become deeply entrenched and pour into the communities he is a part of has stuck with him. In this episode Deon reveals his passions outside of football, which include his roles as founder of the Grant Foundation, a Captain for the Trust powered by the NFLPA, and an owner/partner/advisor in multiple business ventures.
