Desire To Do Good

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Mark 3 today with a quick recap of last week. Is it really that hard to do good to people? The Pharisees were making a big deal about Jesus healing on the sabbath (which was completely lawful), because it violated their set of rules. Since when is it wrong to do good to others? This world is cold, and the last thing it needs is cold hearted Christians keeping to themselves because they don’t want to upset people, or they want to maintain the status quo. Jesus commanded us to love one another, and an easy way to do that is by doing good to one another.  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
