Desk Thoughts: Stuck In Provider Mode

As a parent needing to provide, and be available, and sometimes even chaperone, we may find ourselves stuck in provider mode, and never in the moment of what's happening. A lot of children have both parents in the household but the way that the house is maneuvering is very situational. Children are not things on a list they are people. But sometimes parents get stuck in provider mode and they forget to be a part of the experience. So this is just a reminder for parents not to get stuck and just being the provider and checking off a list.
