6:00 Beto Duran and Marcas Grant start the show talking about Austin Reaves. Beto takes a quick detour and brings up "Baywatch" so he, Rebecca, and Marcas reminisce about the show and try to explain it's success to the younger Deondre. The guys get back to Austin Reaves and wonder if next season would be better for him if he went to a different city. 6:15 The guys start talking about the World Cup and Mexico. Beto loves the individual athlete stories and finds them inspirational. They love World Cup time in LA because you can turn on the tv at any time and see a game. Deondre jumps in with his soccer knowledge from the Ivory Coast and Germany game. Canada will be playing South Korea, which will pit LAFC teammates against each other. 6:30 The Lakers take Cameron Carr in the first round of the NBA draft. Beto thinks it's an interesting pick for this team because it's another guard. How will he fit into the team? Marcas brings up Dalton Knecht and Luke Kennard and where they will fit in on the Lakers. And then, of course, this leads into talking about the Adam Sandler movie "Uncut Gems". 6:45 Beto and Marcas discuss the logistics of making it to Mexico or Canada for some of the World Cup games.
