Whatever today has brought, there is something comforting to remember before you rest. Tomorrow is not waiting for you on your own. God is already there. Before you close your eyes tonight, let’s place tomorrow into His faithful hands. Scripture (NIV) “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 Heavenly Father, thank You for going before us into every tomorrow. As this day comes to its close, we leave our unanswered questions, our unfinished work and our quiet concerns with You. Replace our worries with Your peace and our uncertainty with renewed trust. Help us to rest knowing that You are already preparing the way ahead. Watch over those we love tonight, and wake us tomorrow with fresh hope, renewed strength and grateful hearts. Fear will not win, because the Lord goes before us and never leaves our side. May the Lord grant you peaceful rest tonight, surround your home with His loving care and remind you that His presence will greet you again in the morning.
