There may be conversations you are nervous about, decisions you have to make, or circumstances you simply cannot see clearly yet. But before you take your first step, God is already there. Scripture — Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV) “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Prayer Father, as this new day begins, I bring You everything I cannot see yet. There are things ahead of me that I cannot predict, conversations I cannot rehearse, and decisions I cannot completely understand. Sometimes uncertainty can make the heart anxious before anything has even happened. But today I want to remember that I am not walking into an unknown place alone. Your Word reminds us that You go before Your people and that Your presence does not leave them. So, Lord, go before me today. Prepare my heart for what lies ahead. Give me courage where I feel hesitant, wisdom where I feel unsure, and peace where my thoughts are already running ahead of me. And as I think about the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and South Africa, I pray for people beginning their own day with questions, responsibilities and burdens. Let them know that You are near. Jesus, You are not asking me to know everything about today. You are asking me to trust You with today. So I place the unknown into Your hands. I will take the next step with You, trusting that Your presence is greater than my uncertainty. Holy Spirit, steady my heart. Let courage rise quietly within me, not because I know what is coming, but because I know who walks with me. Father, I receive this day from You.
