Developing Commodity Exchanges With Les Male

Les was most recently CEO of both Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) and the Dubai Commodities Clearing Corporation (DCCC) – the largest and most diversified derivatives Exchange group in the Middle East. A leader in the development of Europe’s first gas spot market (the OCM), Les later became Commercial Director at EnMO and then APX-Endex. In 2010 he became the European Managing Director for the Green Exchange, which was acquired by CME where role took on the European gas and Global LNG strategy for Nymex, prior to joining Nasdaq in 2014 where Les was responsible for EU/UK client facing activities on the Global Commodities product suite.
