The episode opens with an interview with PCR Boys' Varsity Coach, Boatyard Assistant, and former PCR student-athlete, Myi Harte.Rebecca Gronsdahl is in her third year as head coach at Fordham University. She began rowing at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where, upon graduation, she spent time coaching both the novice and varsity squads. Prior to Fordham, she served as both operations manager and director of community rowing at Row New York.
