Devon Pia on How we Need to Adapt to Change, Sobriety, and How the Bike is a Tool to Find the Physical Weakness, Mental Limit, And Being Free

from Stoke Podcast · host Quinn p Travis

Devon Pia is one of the most authentic humans I’ve met. He is real when it comes to expressing his emotions and his life story. In this episode we talk about his journey and how it led him to the bike shop, as the universe intended it to be. Throughout his life he talks about how he meets certain people that changed his direction for the better and are still very significant people in his life to this day. Almost like a family away from family. Pia also goes into his problems with alcohol and substance abuse, which is why he is sober to this day almost 5 years later. Pia rides his bike for the same reason we all do, he seeks the physical limit, discovers the weaknesses of the mind, but ultimately to fall in love with the moment again and again while hearing the tires purr against the surfaces.
