DG Foods were among the businesses devasted by the fire in the Tycor Business Centre. It was from their unit there that the DG Foods story started two decades ago and where they continued to store their supplies and large-scale deliveries. Standing outside the building, in his own words, 'watching it burn,' he knew DG Foods would never operate from that location again. Insurance Cover Adding to the heartbreak was the realisation that the insurance cover on the premises was not going to cover the cost of the loss, not even nearly. Andrew and his family are still counting the cost of the fire to their business, estimated to be north of €400,000 and yet his biggest fear was for his staff and their jobs. Today was about making a conscious decision to move forward, as a family and as a business.
