The first-ever ‘Loknaatya Mahotsav’ in Goa, celebrating the traditional & cultural folk dramas of Goa, was held at Ravindra Bhavan Sankhali on 23rd & 24th November 2024. The event was organized in collaboration with the Konkani Sangeet Natak Academy, the Department of Arts and Culture Goa, Ravindra Bhavan, Goa Konkani Academy Panjim, the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, & Konkani Seva Kendra. At the Loknaatya Mahotsav, the folk dance 'Dhalo: Theatrical Elements in Folk Dances’ was presented by Mahila mandal, Tuem Pernem.
