It is a branch of the Baihe River in the upper reaches of the Baishuigou. It is named after the nine Tibetan villages. Jiuzhaigou is over 2,000 meters above sea level and is covered with primeval forests. There are 108 lakes distributed in the ditch. It has six wonders: "emerald lakes, cascading waterfalls, colorful forests, snowy peaks, Tibetan customs, and blue ice", and is known as the "fairyland on earth".九寨沟位于四川省阿坝藏族羌族自治州九寨沟县境内，是白水沟上游白河的支沟，因为有九个藏族村寨而得名。九寨沟海拔在 2000 米以上，遍布原始森林，沟内分布 108 个湖泊，有“翠海、叠瀑、彩林、雪峰、藏情、蓝冰”六绝，被誉为“人间仙境”。Entering Jiuzhaigou, the first thing that comes into view is the brilliant and colorful forest. Every golden autumn, the trees on the mountain are tinted into various colors by the autumn wind. They are as red as fire, as yellow as gold, and as green as jade. It seems that nature has overturned its palette and painted a magnificent picture for us.走进九寨沟，首先映入眼帘的是那一片片绚丽多彩的彩林。每当金秋时节，山上的树木被秋风染成了各种颜色，红的似火、黄的如金、绿的像玉，仿佛是大自然打翻了调色盘，为我们描绘出一幅美轮美奂的画卷。The lakes in Jiuzhaigou are a great wonder. These lakes are called "Haizi" by the local people. The lake water is blue and clear all year round and is bright and limpid to the bottom. With the change of light and the passage of seasons, different tones and water rhymes are presented. The Five-Flower Lake can be said to be the essence of Jiuzhaigou. In the same water area, you can see colors such as yellowish, dark green, dark blue, and dark cyan. They are mottled and confusing, and extremely colorful. It is too beautiful to be real. There is also the Five-Color Pond. Although it is small in area, under the sunshine, it is colorful and just like a bright gem inlaid on the earth.九寨沟的湖泊更是一大奇观。这些湖泊被当地人称为“海子”，湖水终年碧蓝澄澈，明丽见底。随着光照变化、季节推移，呈现出不同的色调与水韵。五花海可以说是九寨沟的精华，在同一水域中，你可以看到鹅黄、墨绿、深蓝、藏青等色彩，斑驳迷离，绚丽多姿，美得不似人间。还有五彩池，虽面积较小，但在阳光的照耀下，五彩斑斓，就像镶嵌在大地上的一颗璀璨宝石。The waterfalls in Jiuzhaigou are also a sight not to be missed. Nuorilang Waterfall is the widest waterfall in China. The surging water comes from the Nuorilang Sea and flows down from the top of the waterfall like the Milky Way pouring down, with the sound shaking the valley. There is an observation deck opposite the waterfall. Standing on the deck, you can have a panoramic view of the entire waterfall. The majestic momentum will surely shock you.而九寨沟的瀑布也是不容错过的美景。诺日朗瀑布是中国最宽的瀑布，滔滔水流自诺日朗群海而来，经瀑布的顶部流下，如银河飞泻，声震山谷。瀑布对面建有一座观景台，站在台上，瀑布全景尽收眼底，那种磅礴的气势定会让您为之震撼。Jiuzhaigou not only has stunning natural scenery but also has rich Tibetan culture.
