Η υπόθεση της Ρούλας Πισπιρίγκου αφορά τον θάνατο των τριών παιδιών της οικογένειας Δασκαλάκη στην Πάτρα: της Μαλένας, της Ίριδας και της Τζωρτζίνας. Αρχικά οι θάνατοι αποδόθηκαν σε παθολογικά αίτια, όμως η έρευνα επανεκκινήθηκε μετά τον αιφνίδιο θάνατο της 9χρονης Τζωρτζίνας το 2022. Οι τοξικολογικές εξετάσεις έδειξαν παρουσία κεταμίνης, ουσίας που θεωρήθηκε ότι προκάλεσε τον θάνατό της. Οι Αρχές υποστήριξαν ότι η ουσία χορηγήθηκε ενώ το παιδί νοσηλευόταν, με αποτέλεσμα να στραφούν οι υποψίες προς τη μητέρα. Κατά τη διάρκεια της δίκης κατατέθηκαν μαρτυρίες γιατρών και νοσηλευτών σχετικά με ύποπτα περιστατικά στις νοσηλείες των παιδιών, ενώ εξετάστηκαν ιατροδικαστικά ευρήματα, ο χρόνος χορήγησης της κεταμίνης και οι συνθήκες θανάτου. Η υπεράσπιση αμφισβήτησε τα συμπεράσματα των ειδικών και υποστήριξε ότι δεν αποδείχθηκε εγκληματική ενέργεια. Η υπόθεση προκάλεσε έντονο κοινωνικό και δημοσιογραφικό ενδιαφέρον σε όλη τη χώρα, λόγω των αντιφάσεων, της δημοσιότητας και της σοβαρότητας των κατηγοριών. Η Πισπιρίγκου καταδικάστηκε σε ισόβια κάθειρξη για τον θάνατο της Τζωρτζίνας, ενώ συνεχίστηκαν οι διαδικασίες και για τους θανάτους των άλλων δύο παιδιών.
