Some areas are experiencing the driest conditions on record since 1981. Soybean planting in Mato Grosso is expected to be delayed due to below-average rainfall in September and October. Dry weather is forecast to continue for at least the next two weeks. Used tractors were in high demand at the Farm Progress Show in Iowa, with BigIron Auctions offering its largest-ever selection of used equipment.
