Did the C.I.A Kill JFK? A Discussion b/t Jefferson Morley and Bob Buzzanco (G&R 204)

The Kennedy Conspiracy is growing even stronger, in large part due to  the work of Jefferson Morley, both in writing about it and more  importantly in pressing the CIA to declassify documents.  He now claims  to have a "smoking gun" that will crack the case.   But does he?  Bob Buzzanco has been one of the foremost critics of the  JFK-Oliver Stone Conspiracy group and he and Morley had a long  discussion about the claims of a government conspiracy to kill the  President in 1963.  They discussed the difficulty of getting government  documents, Morley's allegations about the CIA's involvement in  conducting surveillance on Lee Harvey Oswald and trying to flip him, and  then making him the patsy for the killing, and how the CIA operates.   Buzzanco repeatedly made the point that there was still no evidence, no  real link, between government agents and the events in Dallas at Dealey  Plaza.     Green & Red has been at the forefront of this debate and it  continues with this great discussion.  Bio// Jefferson Morley (@jeffersonmorley) is a Washington journalist and  author.
