Didaché - Bobby Conner Makes One Of The Most Blasphemous Claims I've Ever Heard
from The Christian Podcast Community
A man claims he once spoke a squirrel into existence in the East Texas woods. That man is Bobby Conner, and Justin Peters returns to him here with a clip that goes far beyond squirrels — Conner telling audiences he was sucked up out of his office, thrown back 2,000 years in history, and landed on the cobblestone streets of Jerusalem, where he watched Christ carry His cross and "his eyes met my eyes."Peters calls that what it is: blasphemy, made up out of whole cloth to exploit people. He notes how closely Conner's story echoes Jesse Duplantis being sucked out of his room, flags the "what?" shouted mid-story as a technique to keep listeners believing he is more spiritual than they are, and identifies the whole thing as a modern version of Gnosticism. He also shows why Conner's judgment will be more severe: the man can quote 2 Corinthians 5:21 and knows the gospel intellectually, yet lies about Christ without any prick of conscience — evidence, Justin argues, of a heart that is darkened and unregenerate, without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He takes aim at the Assemblies of God and Bethel platforms that host him, the churches that handed out his book by the tens of thousands, and the followers with the same Bible who hear this and sound no alarm.Peters closes not with hatred but with trembling, and a direct call to Conner to repent — because false teachers are themselves part of God's judgment, and discernment here is a matter of the soul.➡️ Click here to find all of Justin’s essential links.
