Digital Transformation of the Mobile Connected Pharmacy | Rx Delivered Now

from Pharmacy Podcast Network · host Pharmacy Podcast Network

Apps are now an integral part of our daily micro-moments, with people spending an average of 30 hours per month in them, according to Nielsen Although these seem like big tech corporations, they enabled smaller businesses to a degree. For instance, local restaurants that would’ve normally closed during the pandemic due to dining restrictions became dependent on delivery clients. People have mixed feelings about these tech apps - on the one hand, they want to support local community businesses by going to them directly, but on the other hand, they are dependent on these apps to facilitate their life.  Mobile technology has been crucial to every industry, as mobile phones are the first and last tangible step in peoples’ routines. Families are more likely to get a phone before a computer for the household - so mobile optimization has to be up to the standard usability of a desktop.
