DiJonai Carrington EJECTED after Flagrant 2 foul on Sophie Cunningham

The WNBA has another situation that has everybody talking, and this one got heated FAST. Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington was ejected from the August 8 game against the Indiana Fever after officials reviewed her foul on Sophie Cunningham and upgraded it to a Flagrant 2. The play happened late in the first quarter as Cunningham was going toward the basket on a fast break. Carrington attempted to defend the play but made hard contact with Cunningham around the face and neck area, sending her to the floor.
