Kingdom Influence Media Forum

Kingdom Influence Media (KIM) is an independent truth news and community forum created to give everyday people a voice. Our mission is to provide a platform where faith, truth, and real-life experiences come together — a space where individuals can openly share what they see happening in the world and discuss it in real time. Unlike many major media outlets that control narratives and decide which stories get told, Kingdom Influence Media flips the model. Here, the people help shape the conversation. Community members can share their perspectives, experiences, and observations, creating discussions that reflect what people are truly thinking and experiencing in their daily lives.KIM serves as more than just a discussion forum. It is a growing informational system built by the people, for the people. Members are encouraged to post about a wide range of topics related to life, including faith, community issues, relationships, lifestyle, current events, gaming, technology, per

Even The Wicked Supports Their God! Why Can't You Support Jesus!!??

If people can faithfully support someone who is wicked, then why can't Christians faithfully support God?Think about it.People will defend celebrities, politicians, influencers, and all kinds of people who have no real power outside of what God allows them to have. They'll argue online, make videos, wear their merchandise, and stand by them no matter what. But when it comes to talking about Jesus, suddenly people get quiet. It's like the cat has their tongue. They're worried about what someone might think. They're afraid of being judged. They're embarrassed to speak up. Yet they'll boldly defend someone who can't save them, heal them, or give them eternal life.God has all power. If we're willing to stand behind people who are flawed, why is it so hard to stand behind the One who created us?Nobody should be forced to believe what someone else believes. We all have the freedom to make our own choices. But if someone has the freedom to openly support the things they believe in, then Christians should have that same freedom to openly share their faith without feeling ashamed. The truth is, when you genuinely believe in God, there will be times when you feel like you're standing alone. Not everyone will understand you. Not everyone will agree with you. The people who truly recognize what God is doing aren't always the majority. But that shouldn't change your conviction.I believe in God enough to stand my ground. If someone else can boldly stand behind what they believe—even when I disagree with it—then I can boldly stand behind Jesus without apology.Faith was never meant to be hidden.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Nolan Wells | We Can Not Rule Out Foul Play From Autopsy

Nolan Wells' independent autopsy results are finally coming in, and I think a lot of people are going to be paying close attention to what is revealed. During the announcement of the independent autopsy findings, Dr. Roger Mitchell stated that not all of Nolan Wells' organs were made available for his examination. According to Dr. Mitchell, this limited the scope of the independent autopsy and meant he could not conduct a complete evaluation of every organ.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Sony | Move Away From Physical Discs Has Gamers Fighting Back

At the same time, I also understand the company's side of things.People have been taking advantage of physical games for years. Games are constantly being bought, sold, traded, rented, and resold on platforms like eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, and many other online marketplaces. Every time that game changes hands, the publisher doesn't receive another sale. The company only gets paid once, even though that same copy may be sold several times. Then there's another issue that doesn't get talked about enough—people stealing content, pirating games, copying software, and finding ways to bypass security. Companies spend hundreds of millions of dollars creating these games, paying developers, artists, writers, voice actors, programmers, and support staff. When piracy and unauthorized distribution happen, those losses add up over time. That doesn't mean I think consumers should be forced into expensive subscriptions or higher licensing costs either. One of the biggest complaints I'm seeing is that gaming is becoming more expensive every year. Between subscription services, downloadable content (DLC), season passes, online memberships, and rising game prices, many gamers feel like they're paying more than ever before. People are worried that if physical discs disappear completely, they'll lose the ability to shop around for better prices, borrow games from friends, or build collections they actually own and can display.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. North Carolina Clueless About The Cyclospora Outbreak

First, it was lettuce. Then it was bagged lettuce. We didn't even know which one to avoid. Now, all of a sudden, it seems like North Carolina is having a hard time keeping control of what's going on in the state. I think it's ridiculous that this is happening because we're still left with questions, and we don't have any answers. What really gets me is that they're not even reporting it on the news, which I also think is ridiculous. They need to get a handle on what they're doing and start giving people the information they deserve. Right now, there are just too many unanswered questions.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Well, when the package showed up, I could tell right away something was wrong. The tiles were not the same color as the ones I already had. I even double-checked my order to make sure I hadn't clicked the wrong option, and I didn't. I ordered the same one as before. This tells me the seller is having problems keeping their inventory organized. It seems like they're not labeling their products correctly, or they're just grabbing whatever they have and shipping it out without making sure it's actually what the customer ordered. The part that really annoys me is that this isn't the first time it's happened. You'd think after the first mix-up they'd have their system together, but apparently not. It's frustrating when you're in the middle of a project and then everything comes to a stop because someone couldn't take a few extra seconds to make sure they were sending the correct item. Nolan Wells Parents May Not Get The Closure They Deserve

As you guys know, this Nolan Wells case has gotten some really mega attention from social media and the news. And this is because people are still trying to figure out what happened to Nolan Wells. Now, here's the thing. At this point, people are saying that investigators are saying that it doesn't look like there's any foul play at all. It just looks like it was just something that was an accident, maybe a drowning. But then again, there were so many different things we're hearing from different people, like him being bruised, beaten, which of course, we can't just go on those because they're not facts. We're hearing from people who actually said they saw this boy's body being disrespected in transport, and also talking about situations with drugs that were on the boat. We want to know why the young men had pretty much gotten rid of their social media accounts when there could have been ways around that to keep their accounts safe without necessarily having to delete the whole account or whatever they were saying, scrubbing the account.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Xbox Just Screwed Over Creators

Xbox just proved why going digital is the worst idea ever. I'm sorry, but this is exactly why I will never fully trust an all-digital future. Every time these gaming companies start talking about how digital is "the future," they always leave out the part where they control everything. You don't own the game. You own permission to access it...until they decide otherwise. Watching everything that's happening with Xbox lately just proves the point. When you buy a physical game, you can put it on your shelf, lend it to a friend, sell it years later, or play it even if a store disappears. There's something comforting about actually owning what you paid for. With digital, you're depending on servers, licensing agreements, internet connections, company policies, and accounts staying in good standing. If something changes behind the scenes, you're the one left hoping everything still works.People used to laugh at gamers who wanted physical discs. Now those same people are starting to understand why so many of us refused to give them up. We're paying the same $70 or even more for a digital download that we can't resell, can't trade, can't collect, and in some situations can even lose access to. The Issues With The FBI Working The Nolan Wells Case .

The FBI getting involved does not automatically mean every question will be answered. A lot of people have talked for years about whether the FBI has always been honest and transparent in every investigation they have handled. Because of that history, many people feel like it's important to pay close attention instead of simply assuming everything they say should be accepted without question. As you guys remember, President Donald J. Trump selected the current FBI Director. Trump has also made many controversial statements over the years that many people viewed as racist or offensive toward minorities. He has also faced criticism over his immigration policies, with critics arguing that some lawful residents or citizens were wrongly affected by immigration enforcement. Because of those controversies, some people are questioning whether they should completely trust federal agencies connected to his administration.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Nolan Wells | What Really Happened?

I've also seen people saying that information may have been deleted from the phone. Again, I don't know if that's true, but if investigators determine that data was removed or altered, then they need to find out exactly when it happened and who had access to the device. A cell phone can tell investigators a lot. It can contain messages, calls, photos, locations, and timelines that may help explain what happened. This is why I believe every single person who was with Nolan that day should be interviewed separately. Not together. One by one. Everyone should have an opportunity to tell investigators exactly what they saw and what happened without being influenced by someone else's version of events. At the end of the day, this isn't about attacking anyone or assuming guilt. It's about making sure every question gets answered. Nolan's family deserves the truth, and the public deserves to know that every possible lead is being thoroughly investigated. Too many times we've seen cases where important details didn't come out until much later. Hopefully, that won't happen here. If the rumors about the phone are completely false, then investigators can put those rumors to rest with the facts. But if there is something to them, then it needs to be addressed immediately. Justice starts with a complete investigation, and that means following every piece of evidence wherever it leads. What do you all think? Have you seen the reports about Nolan's phone? Do you think investigators should publicly clarify who had possession of it after Nolan became separated from it, or do you think people should wait until the investigation is complete?Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Fanbase Not Showing Up In Google Search?

I've been trying to find videos from creators on Fanbase through Google, and it's like they don't exist. I can find videos from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, and just about every other major platform, but Fanbase videos barely show up—if at all.I don't understand it. If a creator makes their content public, why shouldn't people be able to discover it through Google? Discovery is one of the biggest ways new audiences find creators. If those videos aren't showing up in search, it feels like creators are missing out on a lot of potential viewers.I'm not trying to start a conspiracy or blame anyone without proof. I'm just genuinely confused because it doesn't make much sense from a user's perspective. As someone trying to support creators, I'd expect Google to surface relevant public videos regardless of the platform they're hosted on.Has anyone else noticed this? Is it something Fanbase needs to fix on the technical side, or is Google just not indexing the platform properly? I'd really like to hear from anyone who knows more about SEO or has experienced the same thing.Right now, it just feels like Fanbase creators are at a disadvantage when it comes to being discovered, and that's disappointing.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. YouTube Is Hiding Small Creators

If You Were Dying Tomorrow .......🤔

I want to share something with y’all today that really hit me in my spirit. Sometimes I come on here and share what God gives me because I believe there needs to be more content that points people back to Christ. There is so much noise on social media, so many distractions, and so many people chasing things that won’t matter in eternity. Recently, God challenged me with a simple question: "If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, would you be okay with where you're going?" That question stopped me in my tracks. A lot of people are afraid of death. Many people immediately start thinking about all the things they haven't done yet, all the places they haven't traveled, or all the goals they haven't accomplished. But why don't we spend that same energy making sure we're right with God? Jesus died for our sins. He endured rejection, persecution, suffering, and temptation. Yet He never stopped loving us. He didn't put off His purpose. He didn't say, "Let me go do everything I want first." He fulfilled what God called Him to do because He loved us that much. What I don't understand is how people can thank God for waking them up every morning but forget to thank Him for the promise of heaven. How can we ask Him to bless our meals but forget where those blessings come from? How can we ask for forgiveness while knowingly holding on to things we refuse to surrender? None of us are perfect. I make mistakes every day. I have weaknesses.I get tired. I fall short. But I know where my help comes from, and I know that my relationship with God is more important than anything this world can offer.  Too many people are trying to prove themselves to people who don't truly care. God reminded me that I don't have to be liked to be loved. His love is enough. So today, I challenge you: Don't just prepare for your future on earth. Prepare for eternity. Make pleasing God your highest priority. Because when you spend your life pursuing Him, you're showing Him that you're serious about where you're going. And that's a journey worth investing in.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Why Do Bad Things Happen When I Pray?

I wanted to share something with you guys today that has really been sitting on my heart for a while. I know a lot of people ask why it feels like every time they pray, fast, or try to get closer to God, everything starts going wrong instead of right. It can honestly feel discouraging. You start thinking God is not listening because the opposite of what you prayed for seems to happen. But through my own walk with Christ, I’ve learned something important. Sometimes God has to tear down things in our lives that were never good for us in the first place before He can build something better. A lot of us prayed for things while standing in situations, relationships, habits, or mindsets that God knew would destroy us later. So when we start truly seeking Him, He begins unraveling things we thought we needed. And yes, it hurts. Sometimes it feels like loss before blessing. The enemy also wants you to believe that because things got harder, God abandoned you. That is one of the biggest lies people fall into. The closer you get to God, the more spiritual resistance you may feel because the enemy does not want you to realize your purpose or your future. One thing I had to learn is that God is not a genie that exists only to give us things. He wants relationship, surrender, obedience, and trust. Even when life hurts. Even when we cry. Even when we don’t understand why certain prayers were answered differently than we expected. And let me say this too: being a Christian does not mean your life is miserable. God has blessed me in many ways and carried me through some dark places. I still struggle sometimes. I still learn every day. But I know without a doubt that Jesus Christ saved my life and changed me from the inside out.Sometimes surrender means telling yourself no. Sometimes it means walking away from things God said are not good for you. Sometimes it means trusting God enough to let Him fight battles you are too weak to fight yourself. If you are praying right now and feeling ignored, please don’t give up. God sees you. He knows your heart. Stop focusing only on what has not happened yet and trust that God is still working, even behind the scenes. Faith is not only believing when things feel good. Faith is saying “Lord, I still trust You even now.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. You Shouldn't Be A Pastor If.............

There is something powerful that many believers still struggle to fully understand about following Jesus Christ. Christianity is not only about receiving salvation for ourselves. It is also about becoming vessels of love, forgiveness, prayer, and mercy for other people. That is the true heart of the gospel. In John 20:21-23, Jesus told His disciples, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Right after this, He began speaking about forgiveness. That connection matters deeply. Jesus was showing that being filled with the Spirit also means learning how to forgive, pray for people, and intercede for others the same way He intercedes for us.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. God Is Concerned About Your Heart

One thing that people really need to understand is that GOD is more concerned about your heart than your performance. A lot of us spend every single week keeping score on ourselves. We sit around feeling guilty because we missed a prayer night, forgot to read our Bible one day, missed church, or didn’t volunteer enough. Meanwhile, GOD is looking deeper than all of that.People really think Christianity is about checking boxes. “Did I pray enough?” “Did I give enough money?” “Did I serve enough at church?” “Did I bring enough people to Bible study?” But the truth is, you can do ALL of those things and still have an ugly heart. You can preach and still be hateful. You can give money and still be prideful. You can lead a church and still lack compassion. You can sing worship songs every Sunday and still mistreat people behind closed doors. That is why GOD looks at the heart first.1 Samuel 16:7 says: “For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. BE A TRUE LIVING SACRIFICE!

There’s something about this verse that just sits deep in my spirit and won’t let me go. When it talks about offering your body as a living sacrifice, that hit me different. Because a sacrifice isn’t something easy. It’s not comfortable. It’s not convenient. It’s something you give up… fully. And when I really sat with that, I realized—God isn’t just asking for a moment from us. He’s asking for us. Not halfway. Not when it feels good. Not only when things are going right. But even when it hurts. Even when it doesn’t make sense. A living sacrifice means waking up every day and choosing God, even when everything in you wants to go back to what’s familiar. Choosing Him when the world says, “Do what makes you happy.” Choosing Him when your situation looks dead, when people count you out, when nothing around you reflects what God promised. That part about not conforming to this world… that’s real. Because the world will pull on you. It will try to shape you, break you, and make you believe that what you see is all there is. But I’ve learned that what we see isn’t always the truth. God moves in ways we can’t always understand. And sometimes the biggest act of faith is saying, “God, I trust you,” when nothing around you is giving you a reason to. And that’s where the renewing of your mind comes in. Because if you don’t let God change the way you think, you’ll keep going back. Back to old habits. Back to old ways. Back to things God already brought you out of. And I’m learning that just because something feels familiar doesn’t mean it’s right. Sometimes going back is easier—but it’s not better.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. YouTube Discriminating Against Black People!

In a digital age where visibility equals opportunity, a growing number of Black content creators begin to question whether the system they rely on is working against them. “YouTube: Discriminating Against Black Creators?” dives into the raw, unfiltered experiences of creators who feel silenced, shadowbanned, and sidelined by a platform that claims to reward creativity and consistency. Through candid conversations, personal stories, and sharp commentary, the podcast explores allegations that algorithms and moderation systems disproportionately impact Black voices—limiting reach, demonetizing content, and quietly suppressing growth. As creators compare notes and patterns begin to emerge, what once felt like isolated frustrations starts to look like something deeper. Balancing emotion with insight, the episode also examines the role of clickbait culture, audience behavior, and platform transparency. Are creators being pushed into certain boxes? Is authenticity being punished? Or is the algorithm simply misunderstood? With tension rising and questions unanswered, this podcast doesn’t claim to have all the answers—but it refuses to stay silent.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. YouTube Discriminating Against Black People

I’m gonna say it straight… something about YouTube just doesn’t sit right, and a lot of people been noticing it for a while now. You got Black creators out here putting in REAL work—creative, consistent, building communities—and then outta nowhere their views drop, their videos get demonetized, or they just stop getting pushed. No explanation, no warning, nothing. It’s like you wake up one day and your content just… disappears from the algorithm. And the crazy part? When people speak up about it, it gets brushed off like it’s nothing. Lawsuits get dismissed, complaints get ignored, and the conversation gets shut down before it even gets real traction. That’s the part that feels off. GOD IS SPEAKING! But You Don't Like What He Is Saying!

A lot of us walk around saying, “I’m trying to hear from God,” but if we’re honest, we’re only open to hearing what we agree with. The moment truth shows up in a way that challenges us, corrects us, or exposes something in us—we shut down. We get defensive. We dismiss it. Or worse… we ignore it completely. But here’s the truth: God has been speaking to you. Not just today. Not just recently. A long time ago. Through people. Through situations. Through that uncomfortable feeling you keep pushing away. Through that one conversation that stuck with you longer than it should have. Through correction you didn’t ask for but needed anyway. And instead of sitting with it and going back to God like, “Lord, fix my heart so I can receive this,” we go everywhere else. We look for validation. We look for agreement. We look for someone to tell us we’re fine the way we are. But growth doesn’t happen in comfort—it happens in truth. Sometimes people aren’t attacking you. Sometimes they’re revealing something you genuinely can’t see about yourself. And instead of labeling them as negative or “coming for you,” maybe—just maybe—that’s God trying to get your attention. We say we want clarity, but we avoid conviction. We say we want God’s voice, but we reject His method. God is limitless. He’s not boxed into one way of speaking. He will use whatever—and whoever—He needs to reach you. The real issue isn’t that God isn’t speaking. The issue is that we’re not present enough to hear Him. We’re distracted. We’re prideful. And sometimes… we’re just not ready to accept the truth. But here’s where it shifts: maturity is when you start praying differently. “Lord, don’t just speak to me—prepare me to receive it.”“Correct my heart so I don’t reject what I need.”“Help me recognize your voice—even when it’s uncomfortable.” Because once you get to that place, everything changes. You stop running from truth… and start growing through it. God is speaking. GOD IS SPEAKING You Just Don't Like What He Is Saying!

Let’s be real for a second—God is not silent. We just don’t like what He’s saying.A lot of us walk around saying, “I’m trying to hear from God,” but if we’re honest, we’re only open to hearing what we agree with. The moment truth shows up in a way that challenges us, corrects us, or exposes something in us—we shut down. We get defensive. We dismiss it. Or worse… we ignore it completely. But here’s the truth: God has been speaking to you.Not just today. Not just recently. A long time ago.Through people. We look for someone to tell us we’re fine the way we are.But growth doesn’t happen in comfort—it happens in truth.Sometimes people aren’t attacking you. Sometimes they’re revealing something you genuinely can’t see about yourself. And instead of labeling them as negative or “coming for you,” maybe—just maybe—that’s God trying to get your attention. We say we want clarity, but we avoid conviction. We say we want God’s voice, but we reject His method.God is limitless. He’s not boxed into one way of speaking. He will use whatever—and whoever—He needs to reach you.The real issue isn’t that God isn’t speaking. The issue is that we’re not present enough to hear Him.We’re distracted. We’re prideful. And sometimes… we’re just not ready to accept the truth. But here’s where it shifts: maturity is when you start praying differently.“Lord, don’t just speak to me—prepare me to receive it.”“Correct my heart so I don’t reject what I need.”“Help me recognize your voice—even when it’s uncomfortable.”Because once you get to that place, everything changes. You stop running from truth… and start growing through it.God is speaking. The question is—are you finally ready to listen?Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Why are people paying 2000 a month to rent a newyork city apartment

I really don’t get it. I’m trying to understand how we got to a place where people are willingly paying close to $2,000 a month to live in what is basically a box — 300 square feet — in New York City. That’s not an apartment, that’s a storage unit with a stove. And somehow, this has been normalized like it’s just part of “the dream.”What dream?Because from the outside looking in, it feels like people are chasing an image more than an actual quality of life. The idea of saying “I live in New York” has somehow become more valuable than living comfortably, having space, and actually being able to breathe in your own home. You mean to tell me you’re working nonstop, stressing over bills, barely saving anything — all so you can come home to a place where your bed is basically touching your kitchen? That’s not living. That’s surviving with a zip code attached to it.And let’s talk about the math for a second. If rent is pushing $2,000, that means realistically you need to be making at least $4,000 a month just to stay afloat. That’s not including food, transportation, emergencies, or trying to actually enjoy your life. So now you’re locked into this cycle where everything you earn is already spoken for before you even see it. There’s no room to build, no room to breathe, and definitely no room to grow.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. Why Are People Paying $2,000 for a Closet in New York City? Make It Make Sense

You Can't Preach One Thing, & Live Another!

I’m just going to say it how it is, because this has been on my mind heavy lately. One thing that confuses me about some people in the church is how easy it is for them to talk about the Word but not actually live it. And I’m not saying anybody has to be perfect, because clearly, none of us are. But there’s a difference between struggling and straight-up ignoring what you’re teaching.Like, how are you going to sit there and tell people how to live for Christ, but behind closed doors you’re doing the complete opposite? That’s where it starts to feel fake. And people can see that. You might think they don’t, but trust me, they do. Jesus made it clear we’re supposed to be doers of the Word, not just hearers. It’s easy to quote scripture. It’s easy to post about God. It’s easy to give advice. But living it? That’s the real work. That’s where the consistency shows up.And honestly, this is why a lot of people don’t take Christianity seriously. It’s not always the message—it’s the messengers. When people see hypocrisy, it turns them off completely. You can’t tell someone “God is love” but you’re full of hate. You can’t talk about honesty but you’re lying and manipulating people. That’s what makes people question everything. And then we wonder why folks don’t want to come to church or don’t trust believers. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being real. If you mess up, own it. If you’re struggling, say that. But don’t act like you’re walking in something that you’re not even trying to live. That’s where the problem comes in.Because when you’re in a position where you’re teaching, leading, or even just speaking about God, people are watching you whether you like it or not. They’re building trust based on what you say AND what you do. And if those two things don’t line up, your credibility starts to fall apart.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity. 4 Panels Rod Pocket Coated Blackout Curtains, 100% Light Blocking Drapes, Thermal Anti- Privacy, All-Room Darkening for Bedroom Living Room

I know I’m not the only one dealing with it. I ordered these “4 Panels Rod Pocket Coated Blackout Curtains, 100% Light Blocking Drapes” from Temu and when they came in… I was honestly irritated the moment I opened the package.First thing I noticed was the material. These did NOT look like blackout curtains at all. It literally looked like somebody took a regular set of bed sheets and stitched them onto a black backing. No weight to them, no quality feel, nothing that says “this is going to block light.” If anything, it looked like something I could’ve made at home if I had a sewing machine and an old sheet set.Now I get it, Temu is known for cheap prices. I’m not expecting luxury, but I am expecting the product to at least resemble what was advertised. The pictures online made them look thick, structured, and actually blackout. What I received looked like a shortcut version of that. Big difference. And honestly, the most frustrating part wasn’t even just the product, it was the feeling of “is it even worth returning this?” Because let’s be real, returning stuff to some of these platforms can feel like a whole process. Printing labels, repackaging, waiting weeks… sometimes people just take the loss because the hassle isn’t even worth the money. That’s exactly how I felt. I was annoyed, but not enough to go through all that back-and-forth.This isn’t even my first issue with Temu either. I’ve had a couple of orders where the description looked great, the photos looked convincing, and then what showed up was just… off. Not completely useless, but definitely not what was advertised. And I know a lot of people just don’t report it, which is probably why it keeps happening. It honestly made me appreciate ordering from Amazon again. At least with Amazon, I feel like I know what I’m getting most of the time, and if something is wrong, the return process is way smoother. With Temu, it feels like you’re taking a gamble every single time.I’m not saying everything on Temu is bad, but experiences like this make it hard to trust what you’re seeing. If you’re advertising blackout curtains, they need to actually function like blackout curtains—not look like DIY bed sheet projects. Has anybody else ordered curtains or home items from Temu and felt like this? Because I’m starting to think it’s hit or miss more than anything.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support."Kingdom Influence Media is an independent, faith-based lifestyle platform that combines news, community, and creativity.
