Disability and Accommodations with Priya Ray

from Crippled by Culture · host Sean Gold

Hey, welcome to an episode of Crippled by Culture, where we talk about everything in life and relate it to the disabled and chronically ill community. My name is Sean Gold and I am an author, advocate, and nonverbal public speaker for the disability community. Today I would like to thank Adam Ross for being my voice in this episode. In this episode, we are talking about the intersections of disability and accommodations. Guest bio: Priya Ray became disabled in 1999. As a musician and artist that was and is part of a DIY community, she was an ally to minorities. She was shocked that she hadn't realized how we exclude disabled people until Priya had become disabled herself. That was when she decided to dedicate herself to cripping the world around me and bringing everyone along for the ride.
