from SocialMediaBreakup · host Johan
In an earlier video, I explained how you disable the Active Status option in the Facebook App. Not only how, but also why. The quickest way to spend loads of time on the Facebook app is to show people you’re online and “available”. This automatically happens when you open the Facebook app, a green dot will be visible next to your name which basically means trouble. That’s why you want to disable this option in the Facebook app. Not only there though, you also want to disable your active status in the Messenger app as well! This process is easier, check the video for instructions. Since the Messenger app and the Facebook app are interconnected, you want to disable your active status in both apps. Now you can use both apps in peace as no one can see you are online let alone “available”.
