from Living Full Out Show · host Nancy Solari - Living Full Out

Show Theme: Persistent Show Title: Discover How Being Persistent Can Open Doors to New Opportunities in Living Full OutEpisode: 2018.4.40The Living Full Out show encourages you to be persistent towards your goal. This could be whether you have an illness you are fighting to overcome or if there is a certain career you have in mind for yourself. It is important in these situations to have the motivation and support from other people to keep going in life. Our first caller, Connie, is trying to find a companion, but is having difficulty. She is worried about the people she might meet online. She asks Nancy what her options are for finding a companion outside of online dating. Tune in to hear Nancy teach how there are multiple ways to meet a potential partner and get to know them. Our second caller, Sheridan, just recently moved home from school eight hours away from her friends and significant other. She asks Nancy how she can maintain trust and loyalty in her friends and boyfriend when she doesn’t see them every day. Hear how Nancy suggests that Sheridan should create special moments with them and try to find ways to involve them in her daily life. Our inspirational guest, Steven Callahan, was adrift in the Atlantic Ocean for 76 days before being found by fishermen. Steven was on his way home from his voyage when something collided with his boat and started to take on water. He got his inflatable life raft set up and realized that most of the supplies he needed to survive were on his boat. He swam back and grabbed his gear before cutting the raft free. He was able to stay alive by catching fish, using solar stills to produce water and thinking of creative ways to fix his raft when needed. Steven has since documented his survival story in the book, “Adrift: 76 Days Lost at Sea.”Our final caller, Maria, mentors her 3-year-old grandniece one way during the week and parented by her father another way during the weekends. Maria asks Nancy how she can liberate her grandniece from being parented two different ways. Hear how Nancy explains that Maria can only control what she can and that her grandniece living with two different parenting styles can assist her in building a thick skin as she grows up. To be persistent, Nancy suggests thinking about where you want to be in life and what you need to do to get there. By doing this, you will have a clear focus and allow time to think and strategize towards being able to take those necessary steps. Make a plan and learn life lessons as you go. This will pave the way to avoid giving up and as you live full out.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/living-full-out-show--1474350/support.
