He was put into a medically-induced coma and his family was told he had a 5% chance of survival, but he surpassed the doctors’ expectations by waking up from the coma. Then, with determination, drive, and a positive attitude, he relearned how to walk and went on to become an advocate for others with brain injuries, even writing a book documenting his experiences and giving advice to those going through a similar challenge. Tune in to hear how Zachary found the strength to keep moving forward despite his setbacks. Our final caller, Shimeka, wants to know how she can find true companionship in the opposite sex. Nancy advises her to look internally and figure out what her must-haves and deal-breakers are in a relationship, and then to make those clear by putting them into dating app profiles or working them into conversations.
