Discovering Your Money Personality (Part 1) | Ep #18

We all have a money personality. Did you know that? Do you know what yours is?In this episode we dive into some root beliefs that we developed and or inherited as a child. Our grandparent’s and parent’s relationship with money influenced what we were taught about money. This can become a problem if your money archetype (personality) conflicts with what you've been taught about money. The key is 1) to know your dominant money archetype and 2) know how to align to that archetype, as well as work with the strengths, challenges, and gifts it offers.Questions we explored together include:What is your earliest memory of money? What did you learn about what it was and what it was for?When did you make your first dollar?Were you given an allowance as a child? Or more you taught to earn any money you were given?When did you get your first job? How did it feel to receive your first paycheck?Would you say you grew up in a home that felt abundant or one that operated more in scarcity?What beliefs were you taught about money?Do you know how to create and effectively use a budget?What do you believe about your worth and value?Before learning our money archetype, we want to start exploring what we know about ourselves and our relationship with money.
