Discussing Lincoln Riley's defensive staff makeover as the transfer portal action heats up

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio talking about what head coach Lincoln Riley is doing to upgrade his staff on the defensive side of the ball. Riley's first big move was to poach the defensive coordinator from crosstown rival UCLA, bringing over D'Anton Lynn to run the Trojans defense. Another power move by Riley was snagging North Dakota State head coach Matt Entz to be USC's linebacker coach and associate head coach for the defense. Entz has served as the Bison head coach since 2019, winning two national titles at the FCS level.The NCAA Transfer Portal is wide open and the action has been fast and furious. The guys talk about some of the players that have entered the portal from the USC side, the pickups made by the Trojans and what other players could be targets to improve this roster going forward.Bowl preparation is in full swing with the Trojans ready to face off against Louisville in the Holiday Bowl on December 27 in San Diego.
