Dissipation: Why Are We Wasting The Church's Time, Money, And Resources?
from Highland Gospel Mission · host Highland Southern Baptist Church
Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will continue in Titus 1 today. As we grow in Christianity, life only becomes more difficult. Paul mentions not being accused of dissipation. What does that mean? Dissipation means wasting time or money, basically doing things that offer no value to the Church. So if you are to grow in your faith and become an elder in your church, your expectations and responsibilities grow as well. Church isn't supposed to be a gentlemen's club to shoot the breeze once a week. It's a body of believers worshipping together and encouraging each other, so that the rest of the week we can share that same Gospel message with a world that desperately needs it.“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times. You can reach us at facebook.com/highlandsouthernbc.
