Ditching the mask is about revealing your true self. We all have shadow versions of ourselves that we really can’t stand. But they are there. We often struggle with the good and the bad within ourselves. Instead of facing ourselves, many of us wear a mask. Many of us have multiple masks. Having a mask doesn’t make you a bad person. It just means that you have a very difficult time facing the pure truth of who you are. Perhaps it’s too painful. Perhaps it’s filled with painful memories perhaps you don’t want to remember those memories so therefore, you block that out. Chances are you are wearing a mask.
