Malgré le projet avorté des ciné-parcs de la ville de Québec, le Marché Jean-Talon a pu ouvrir le sien, depuis le 18 juin 2020, pour tout l'été. Cette initiative a pu voir le jour grâce à la démarche de Patrick Lessard, propriétaire du Marché, auprès des distributeurs de films sans aucune subvention gouvernementale. Le Ciné-Parc Jean-Talon promet une programmation familiale et variée qui se tiendra jusqu'à la mi-août.
