Dividing Surfaces

My first song for FAWM 2019; this year I've rented a viola and I'm doing an album centered around it. Viola recorded by clip-on contact mic into looper pedal, then routed into into Eurorack effects: Xaoc Kamieniec phaser, mutable instruments clouds, pittsburgh filter. Various modulation by Maths. Soma Lyra-8 running into Sara dual VCF, cutoff modulated by envelope follower on the viola part (via Maths), effectively using the viola part as a sidechain for the Lyra. VST effects: ValhallaRoom, Audiothing Outer Space delay, PSP compressor/limiter/EQ. Recorded/mixed in Reaper.
