#Divorce 46: 🤷‍♀️ When you don't feel sad after your divorce

from WTF Divorce · host WTF Divorce

Going through the divorce process, and now that everything is all said and done, you are ready to embark on your new life.  And for some reason you are not sad about it.  It's totally normal to grieve the loss of the life that you once had.  But it's also okay to be really excited about the new path that you are embarking on. It is okay to know that you deserve more and you deserve better in a life that potentially you are choosing to create with yourself and closing the chapter of a life that was no longer serving you.  There is nothing wrong with that.  Society puts so much weight on the fact that we should be sad and divorce should be tragic and should be awful and devastating and ruin our lives. When in fact, it often allows us to have this incredible rebirth in so many different ways. Even if it wasn't our choice to begin with, there are gifts to be found in everything.  And there is a gift in divorce, and we should be celebrating this gift.  And especially if you're happy about it, it's okay to say, congratulations. *** Today’s episode is sponsored by divorce coach, Cindy Stibbard. You might think that hiring a divorce coach will only drive up the costs of your already expensive divorce, but in reality, Cindy can save you thousands of dollars in the long run. It's so hard to fully prepare yourself for the stressful process of separation. Cindy knows because she's been through divorce herself. Here's one of Cindy's clients, to talk about his experience working with Cindy. “Cindy was the guiding light in my divorce process. From start to finish, I was able to count on her to help me figure everything out. Cindy was there for me whenever I needed her, and she talked me down off a ledge more times than I can count. Working with Cindy saved us literally thousands of dollars. And we were able to finalize our divorce in less than a year. If you're even considering separation or divorce, or if you've already started the process, you may feel overwhelmed and afraid of what this means for you and your children's future Book a FREE 20-minute call with Cindy Stibbard.   ✅ You can message her on Instagram @DivorceRedefined Or go to divorceredefined.ca and book your free 20-minute call with Cindy, today.
