Dance TV is proud to present DJ MIX #605 with the London based DJ, producer and Sticky Plastik label owner - Marcelina Wick. Her energetic though atmospheric mix takes us through a variety of electro and disco infused house tracks to stripped down yet groovy minimal acid landscapes of techno. Bomb! @marcelinawick @stickyplastik @belisabooking Marcelina Wick is a London based Polish bred DJ and a founder of a record label Sticky Plastik. Her love for music was ignited in Ibiza, which prompted her to embark on a musical journey that eventually led her to make her mark as an electric vibe curator across London. Drawing inspiration from the underground rave music scene, Wick's DJ sets are a blend of dark and uplifting house, minimal techno, and broken beats. Over the years, her atmospheric and edifying sets have contributed to her reputation as a highly skilled craftswoman behind the decks. Wick has performed at some of London's most prominent venues, including Fabric, Printworks, The Cause, and Egg London, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as The Ghost, Voigtmann, Harry Wills, Radioactive Man, Lazare Hoche, Desert Sound Colony, Voodoo and Taboos, S.A.M, and Charly and Scotch. However, Wick's talent extends beyond London, and she has been globally recognized with bookings in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Southampton, as well as festivals such as The Gottwood, Strawberries and Cream, and Slades. She has also performed internationally in Portugal, Italy, France, and Ecuador. Alongside her regular sets, Marcelina is the founder of London-based minimal techno event and record label Sticky Plastik, which made its debut in January 2018. Sticky Plastik label is distributed by Subwax and its first release in 2022 has been premiered by Trommel, nightclubber.ro and Do-Funkk. Marcelina’s star continues to shine brighter, and with a number of shows lined-up at some of Europe’s premier venues, keep your ears peeled and shades on, Wick is set to light up 2023.
