DJ MIX #678 - DJ Jarle Brathen Tribute (Berlin, Germany)

Today, we are honoured to share a very special recording. This mix was recorded by the late Jarle Bråthen during his unforgettable appearance at Off Duty at Foajeen in Kristiansand in July 2025. It is Jarle's own live recording, captured exactly as he played it—a beautiful snapshot of his musical vision and the energy he brought to the dancefloor. A tribute publication to a master in craft. Jarle passed away earlier this year, leaving behind a lasting legacy as a DJ, producer and curator. Based in Berlin, he was known for his distinctive blend of Nordic disco and house, weaving together cosmic grooves, timeless melodies and impeccable taste. More than a selector, he was a storyteller who created moments that stayed with people long after the music stopped. His unique productions and releases on acclaimed labels including Full Pupp, Correspondant, Luv Shack, Midnight Riot and Walking Disco have left an enduring mark on the underground electronic music scene and will continue to inspire DJs, producers and dancers for years to come. We are grateful to have shared this night with him and even more grateful that this recording exists. It stands as a reminder of the warmth, joy and passion he brought to every set.
