Do As I Say??

What started as a silly battle for the remote between my kid and a family member, turned into such a bigger lesson. So many of us were raised with people that could "talk the talk" but "walking the walk" was a different story. Requests to kids are "easy" to do, but can YOU do the thing you are asking for? And what to do when our reactions get ahead of our awareness (because we're human and it happens!).
