In preparing for our 7-day fast this week, we are talking about how these present difficulties are working maturity in us. Paul tells the troubled Corinthian church a great parable of the treasure that is inside of our broken bodies. He tells us of a great renewal and eternal weight of glory that goes beyond comparison—but this all takes place in the midst of hard times.
