Do we Love the Lord in Good and Bad Times?

As we journey from Ash Wednesday, through Lent and come to Palm Sunday today, we look forward to Easter next week, where we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. We note that death and dying are part of life, yet we celebrate the resurrection and that is the message of hope.In Palm Sunday, we welcome the procession, waving our palms with joy. This quickly turns as we cry ‘Crucify him! Crucify him!’ Similarly, do we love the Lord in good times and scold God when things don’t go our way? Or is our faith constant in good times as well as bad? Let us pray for a firmer faith to believe in God in both good times and in bad.- Sunday Homily by Fr. Vincent Low, C.Ss.R. (13 April 2025)
