Today we want to speak about a celebration that it's not very popular in Spain: San Valentin. Even though it's very common to find shops with a lot of flowers and hearts, I think in Spain we don't celebrate it like other countries. For example, my husband and I never give each other gifts for Valentine's, and we don't go out for dinner in special restaurants......Am I unromantic?Maybe...but I don't think so, because my friends don't do it either. Maybe younger generations, the people who are in their 20s celebrate it a little bit more....but, for example, unlike in other countries, in Spain, we never send San Valentine's Cards. I think at the most, we give flowers. However, I like San Valentin's character. Which is the origin of this celebration? Who was San Valentin?
