Do YOU really want to consume more content?

from Tuning In for Slow Living Creatives · host Megan Moran

Do YOU really want to consume more content? That's a question I've been asking myself a lot lately. Our time is precious. And, I don’t want to be another person, simply fire hosing you with information for “consistency’s sake” (or mindlessly consuming myself, either.)* I think as business owners and as creatives, it's an important question for us all to stop and ask ourselves more. To be very intentional with our content, with our creation, with how we're asking others to spend their time.I feel like it's a very noisy, overwhelming and overstimulating world right now.You get on any type of platform (TV, social, magazines, stores etc.) and you're constantly being sold to.It's almost like you're at this street market and people are in your face telling you, you need this thing. It can be really overstimulating and overwhelming. So as a business owner and a creative myself, I'm trying to really think about, how do I want to show up? How do I want people to feel when they're in my world? When I come across? And in that process I’ve asked myself: There’s got to be a gentler way? A way to rely more on meeting people where they're at when they have a question. To show up through discoverability and SEO because they’re looking for an answer and I have a solution. A way to mindfully give people content that's deep and meaningful, but doesn't have to be constant. So I'm curious on your thoughts: on consumption, on creation. And if this prompt was supportive for you? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.__________________________________________________________________________Let’s Grow Girl 🌿If you enjoy my work and want to go deeper you can…* Join my paid community here where we dive into slow living as a mompreneur, uncovering your blueprint + connect in community* Explore my Creative Studio Rental here* See how we’re helping clients launch their podcast on Substack in one day here This is a public episode.
