Doctor Dolittle (1998)

We discuss a beloved book series that many considered to be unadaptable: that's right it's 1998's Doctor Dolittle. We're a couple of Doctor Domores as we guinea pig out on Jim Henson puppets, CGI'd lips, and kafkaesque incomprehensible language barriers, while learning about those doggone HMOs ruining health care and how to make paw-some new fur-ends. You'll be astounded as Eddie Murphy delivers a poe-faced performance opposite a surprisingly Donkey from Shrek-like Chris Rock. It's not dog-awful, but it won't make you soar like an eagle either.
