Does the Roman Catholic Church Have a CLEAR Gospel?

from Matthew Everhard · host Dr. Matthew V Everhard

Does the Roman Catholic Church have a clear Gospel? It is my anecdotal experience that many Catholics do not have a clear understanding of the Gospel. They struggle to articulate it. This is likely the case because the Roman Catholic Church has an overly complicated view of how salvation works. The Catholic Church teaches such things as:- Seven Sacraments- Purgatory- Priestly Confession- Mortal and Venial Sins- Confession to Priests- Treasury of MeritNone of the above are actually found in the Bible. The Protestant understanding of the Gospel is far clearer. We teach that a person is justifed by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (See Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 1:8-9; John 3:16). In this video, I will show a flowchart that clearly explains the difference between Roman Catholic theology and the Biblical Gospel.
