019: Donald Miller on Hero on a Mission

Pub Date is a podcast dedicated to the love of books, and the authors who bring them into the world! In today’s episode, Copper CEO & founder, Allison Trowbridge, sits down with New York Times Bestselling Author, business educator, speaker, and CEO, Donald Miller! His new book ‘Hero on a Mission: A Path to a Meaningful Life’ has launched into the world, and it’s here to *literally* change your life. For the better! With ‘Hero on a Mission’ and in this episode, Donald dives into what a victim mentality is– and how living with one is drastically reducing the quality of your life. Most importantly, Donald helps us understand how to recognize when we’re falling prey to a victim mindset, and how to get out of that behavior! We all do it from time-to-time, but this episode is here to help you tap into the ‘hero’ mindset that lives inside each of us, while avoiding those pesky victim and villain voices in our heads that often take the reins. We’re all about that #MainCharacterEnergy, so let’s learn how to harness it!Today’s episode is for you if you want to live a life of meaning, fulfillment, self-awareness, and purpose. Donald doesn’t shy away from the real pain that life presents all of us, but he encourages us to find the beauty in this existence, too. He helps us cultivate a balanced view of the things that happen to us, and then teaches us to use narrative techniques/themes to actually ‘plot out’ a story that we love. You can get your copy of Donald’s new book here, and you can follow Donald on social media at @donaldmiller.
