Don't Be Afraid Of Pressure Part Two

from Cat 81 Radio · host Cat 81 Radio

Cat81 Radio / Cat81 InsightsDon't Be Afraid of Pressure – Part Two Creflo DollarIn Part One, we learned that pressure is unavoidable, but fear is optional. Today we take the next step: How do we live victoriously when the pressure doesn't immediately disappear?God doesn't simply rescue us from every difficult situation. Often, He strengthens us in the middle of it. As our faith matures, we discover that the same pressure designed to break us can become the very thing God uses to build our character and deepen our trust in Him.Philippians 4:6–7"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God... will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."2 Corinthians 12:9"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness."Isaiah 26:3"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee."Romans 5:3–5"...tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope."When life becomes difficult, our first response should never be panic. It should be prayer. The enemy wants pressure to push us away from God.The Holy Spirit uses pressure to draw us closer to Him.Prayer isn't our last resort. It's our greatest privilege.Pressure often begins as an external problem.Fear becomes dangerous when it settles into our minds.Ask yourself:What am I dwelling on?What voices am I listening to?Are my thoughts producing faith or fear?Fill your heart daily with God's Word. The battle is often won or lost in the mind before it ever reaches the circumstances. The words we speak reveal what fills our hearts.Rather than saying:"I'll never make it."Choose to declare:God is faithful.God is my provider.God is my strength.God is working even when I cannot see it.Faith speaks God's promises even before circumstances change.Paul prayed repeatedly for his burden to be removed.Instead, God reminded him:"My grace is sufficient."Sometimes God changes the situation.Sometimes He changes us while we're in it.Either way, His grace never runs out.We naturally want immediate relief.God often desires lasting transformation.Every trial can strengthen:PatienceHumilityCompassionPerseveranceDependence upon ChristNothing surrendered to God is ever wasted. This week, choose to:Begin every morning with Scripture.Spend more time praying than worrying.Thank God before you see the breakthrough.Encourage someone else who is under pressure.Remember God's faithfulness in your past victories. If He brought you through yesterday...He will be faithful today. Many of you have walked with me through Jaggy's health journey. Some days bring hope. Some days bring difficult decisions. But one lesson keeps returning to my heart:Pressure teaches us to treasure every moment.A quiet purr.A gentle head bump.A peaceful nap in the sunshine. These simple gifts remind me that God is present in both the victories and the valleys.Even when we don't understand His plan, we can trust His heart.Pressure is temporary.God's promises are eternal. The storm may be loud, but His voice is greater.Keep praying.Keep believing.Keep standing. The same God who carried you yesterday is already waiting in your tomorrow. He has never failed you.And He never will.Thank you for joining us on Cat81 Radio and Cat81 Insights.Until next time, remember:"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7God bless you, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.Key ScripturesMain Discussion Points1.
