Don’t Break Up (It’s Mercury Retrograde)

from Jus Suzie · host Suzette M Lindo

Before you spiral, send that text, or break up during Mercury retrograde, listen to this. Hey, welcome back to my podcast. Today we’re talking about Mercury retrograde, yes, Mercury retrograde 😅 And it already played its tricks on me.I ordered Amazon Fresh because I had nothing to cook. The delivery was supposed to arrive at 10:30 a.m. First, I got a text saying it was delayed. Then I got another text saying the entire order was canceled, with no explanation. Classic Mercury retrograde: delays, mishaps, and communication issues. This retrograde is happening in Pisces, and the focus is on relationships. You might notice two emotional themes coming up:1. Feeling unsure where your relationship is goingIf you suddenly feel unclear about your relationship, ask for clarity. Where have you avoided a direct conversation because fantasy felt safer? Gently but firmly close the gap between assumptions and truth. If something feels vague, one-sided, or energetically off don’t fill in the blanks with imagination. Just ask.Clarity isn’t confrontation. It’s choosing understanding over projection. When you articulate what you need and invite the other person to do the same, intimacy deepens. Precision in communication protects connection, and the more transparent the dialogue, the more stable the bond.2. Feeling like the relationship is boring or stagnantIf the relationship suddenly feels dull or “dead,” get imaginative. Not all fantasy is escapism, sometimes it’s medicine.Bring imagination back into your connection through playfulness, creativity, rituals, aesthetics, date nights, or simply allowing yourselves to dream out loud together. Fantasy becomes powerful when both people are conscious participants. It can reignite softness, curiosity, and desire. This Mercury retrograde may impact how you feel emotionally in relationships. You might question where you stand, or feel like things aren’t going anywhere. Don’t give up during this retrograde.Ask for clarity. Get imaginative. That’s it.
