Don't Worry About Tomorrow - Sermon On The Mount Part 2 - Daily Bible Reading Day 4 - Matthew 6 & 7

Jesus continues to instruct us and provide us with heavenly wisdom. We learn about humility and doing things publicly to be seen and praised by men, we learn that we're expected to give to the needy, but not to be praised of by men (ie; recording everything on social media...). We learn to pray, but do it privately. Jesus also reminds us that focusing on this world and wealth is fruitless. Instead, lay up our treasures in Heaven which is eternal. He also teaches us to put our faith and trust in God and not to worry or be anxious about this life or all of our needs. In Chapter 7 Jesus continues to teach us. He tells us that we need to be people who consider our own flaws and works to be better. When we are spiritually healthy, then we are able to help our brothers & sisters. We also have here the famous "golden rule" to treat others like we want to be treated.
