Having grown up in an alcoholic home, Dorinda thought she knew all there was to know about alcoholism but that was a trap set up by her ego and illness, and, as it turns out, she knew nothing. She progressed from a fun loving moderate drinker to a miserable daily solo drinker with no hope left to lose and no reason left to live, or so she thought. How dark it is before the dawn. Little did Dorinda know that there was purpose behind the pain and was being surrendered so her life could sky rocket.  She shares about drinking for two through pregnancy was finally the low that brought her into the rooms of recovery and into a new life.Reco12 is all about exploring the common threads of addiction and sharing tools and hope from those on a similar path. We gather from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and places to learn and support one another.
