Dorofeyev's value soaring

Pavel Dorofeyev becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the season.  VGK is probably already working on a strategy to resign him.  Kyle Stitch of AFP Analytics tells us Dorofeyev's value during the off-season was $7.2 million times five years.  We are sure that number went up after the hot start by the VGK forward who has five goals, including four on the power play, in three games.  This is the next order of business - to lock down Dorofeyev long term. VGK has banked four points in three games, and fortunately they have that many points.  Saturday in Seattle, the Kraken scored the game winner in overtime as Jared McCann tallied the deciding goal on a rebound with 3.8 seconds left in O-T.  VGK fell to 1-0-2 as Seattle won 2-1.
