from Smile High Podcast Club

Nate finally did it. He cornered his brother Doug and got the interview of the century. What an incredible episode it was! Doug shared some very personal details in this episode about growing up in a Mormon household but noting at a very young age that he saw things in a different light. After pushing his own thoughts and feelings aside in isolation, he tried to follow what he was expected to do in hopes that this would gain him the blessings he was promised. After serving a faithful mission and not seeing these promises come to fruition, he took a chance on himself, and decided to follow his voice from within. Doug's story is one of courage and inspiration. If any of you struggle to find and follow your own voice, grab a pencil and paper and take some notes from this very wise man, my dear brother Doug. Also, I'd like to hear any and all of your thoughts about this. Please be as respectful as you can. I have feelings too you know. I think I know where I hid them. :) Thank you for listening to his story and enjoy the show. If you like the show, please share it with your friends and like us on Facebook.
