Ogni anno in Europa, compriamo (e paghiamo, meno ma paghiamo) fino a 19 kg di nuovi vestiti, accessori, scarpe. E produciamo 16 kg di rifiuti tessili. Alcuni degli abiti che scartiamo diventano second hand, il fenomeno degli ultimi anni. Ma ben poco arriva ormai sui banchi del mercato, dove pure lo vorremmo. Molto, forse anche troppo, nei canali di bassa qualità dall'Africa al Pakistan. Tanto, sicuramente troppo, non si riutilizza. Non è solo colpa della fast fashion e della nostra voglia di fare acquisiti. La macchina del riciclo tessile si è messa in moto senza un tassello, e in attesa che arrivi rischia di saltare il banco. E un'economia delle piccole cose che in Italia vive dal dopoguerra. Ora si prova a correre ai ripari e si lavora ad una legge che rimetta tutto in carreggiata. Noi Facciamo i conti...
