Dr. Amaka Nnamani is a general pediatrician residing in Hershey, PA. She is also a wife and mom of three children  ages 10, 8 and 2. She trained in pediatrics at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia and had her first two daughters while in training. Dr. Nnamani is the chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator for the PA American Academy of Pediatrics, two-time grant recipient from the Pennsylvania Department of Health (to improve the breastfeeding rates in moms) and member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She has written a children's picture book on breastfeeding. It is written from the point of view of a 6 year old child. In her spare time, she loves to read autobiographies/biographies, travel, dance, watch comedies and shop. The beach and the spa are her happy places.
