Dr. Muething was awarded the Michael and Suzette Fisher Family Chair for Safety at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He focuses on the strategic goals of Cincinnati Children’s to improve all aspects of care, including safety, outcomes, experience, affordability and population health. His research and national impact focus on high reliability, large scale healthcare safety and lean culture transformation. He has taught all over the United States and in more than a dozen countries.
