He has published 12 books and over 500 peer-reviewed papers. He also received the NSCA 2024 Alvin Roy Award for Career Achievement. In this interview, Dr. Kraemer discusses the evolution of training and athletic development including the idea of long-term athletic development for youth athletes, and how research and technology have changed the way we approach training.
